Partnership for Nedap N.V. and the Dutch festival Lowlands.

February 14th, Nedap and Lowlands signed a partnership contract. Lowlands is the perfect place for technology company Nedap to engage in the world of the youth and to get them acquainted with technology that matters.

Nedap is a manufacturer of intelligent technological solutions for relevant themes. Sufficient food for a growing population, clean drinking water throughout the world, smart networks for sustainable energy are just a couple of examples of themes Nedap is working on.

The two companies exhibit a surprising number of similarities: innovative, plenty of room for initiative, while also demanding for staff and organization. Not only the target group but also the atmosphere and mentality of Nedap and Lowlands show great  overlap. People get the opportunity to make their own choices, that makes everyone involved.

Ruben Wegman, CEO of Nedap N.V. says: “This collaboration gives us a great opportunity to greatly increase our brand awareness, precisely in the target group we focus at: young, highly educated people, who think independently. We see very nice opportunities to contribute to the festival in a relevant and fun way.

Eric van Eerdenburg director of the festival adds: “At first sight Nedap seems to be an unusual partner for Lowlands. But I got to know them as a fascinating, quirky company that develops very useful applications with new technologies. We see opportunities to improve our processes with these technologies, but Lowlands wouldn’t be Lowlands if we wouldn’t use the technology for ‘fun’ projects!”

In the upcoming months, the collaboration between the festival and Nedap will be further elaborated. One thing is clear: it will be a surprising! Music and technology is a combination that matters!
