Last Monday Ziggo Dome “the nicest newest concert hall in the Netherlands” opened its doors. While Dutch singer Marco Borsato was the first to enter the stage, Nedap's access control and intrusion detection system was taken into operation.
Ziggo Dome is equipped with access control and intrusion detection systems from Nedap Security Management. The intrusion zones are directly connected to AEOS and therefore you can see in the graphical alarm handler immediately where a person is in the building, even when the intrusion sensors are disarmed. The concert hall in Amsterdam can accommodate an audience of over 17.000 and has the best acoustics in the Netherlands. After the first sold out concert Ziggo Dome will welcome international artists such as Pearl Jam, Sting, Madonna and Lady Gaga.
