Frontend Developer MediKIT

Groenlo, Netherlands
Full-time
Salary indication: € 3.800 - € 4.500

What are you going to do?

As a Frontend Developer on the MediKIT team, you will help modernise general practice care in the Netherlands. You’ll develop innovative solutions for our MediKIT GP information system (HIS), built entirely on open standards such as HL7 FHIR. Using modern technologies like TypeScript, React and Overmind, you create user-friendly, efficient applications that have an immediate impact on GPs’ daily work.

You’ll work within a microservices architecture and collaborate closely with UX designers, back-end developers and domain experts. In doing so, you contribute to improving both the quality of care and the working experience of healthcare professionals.

Your responsibilities

Building and maintaining modern front-end applications with TypeScript, React and Overmind in a micro-services architecture.

Your team

As a Frontend Developer you’ll be part of the MediKIT team, a multidisciplinary group of thirteen experts united by a mission to reinvent primary care. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Nedap Healthcare and tap into the knowledge and growth opportunities offered by the wider Nedap organisation. The team functions mostly remotely, with regular in-person meet-ups at our offices in Groenlo, Utrecht or Nijmegen.

What's in it for you?

Our offer

As a Frontend Developer at Nedap, you make a valuable contribution to our mission: helping people become happier and more successful in their professional lives.
In addition to your salary, you’ll receive a thirteenth month’s pay, a solid pension plan, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a Nedap shareholder.
At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
We also place great importance on both personal and professional growth. You’ll receive a thorough introduction and are encouraged to keep developing yourself throughout your career.

Required skills

As a Frontend Developer you play a key role in the success of the MediKIT team. You excel at turning technical complexity into practical simplicity, work in a structured way, think proactively and aren’t afraid to take initiative.

You also recognise yourself in the following:

  • Experience: At least 7 years of front-end development experience.
  • Technology: Thorough knowledge of TypeScript and React.
  • Design: Experience translating designs into HTML and CSS.
  • Collaboration: You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
  • FHIR: Familiarity with FHIR is a plus, but by no means required.

Good to know: You’re available for 32 – 38 hours per week. Hybrid (remote) working is standard at Nedap. Together with your team you arrange working hours that support a healthy work–life balance, and you regularly visit one of our offices in Groenlo, Nijmegen or Utrecht.
