

Key Account Sales Executive - DACH regio
What are you going to do?
Nedap in Security develops advanced physical access control solutions that help organisations protect their people, assets and processes. You will collaborate with major international enterprises and public institutions – such as Lufthansa, Unilever and Volkswagen – where complexity and scale come together.
Part of your role includes contributing to the expansion of the customer base for Pace, our Physical Identity and Access Management (PIAM) solution, which enables large organisations to centrally and efficiently manage identities, badges and access rights. In addition, you will also be involved in the commercial activities related to our other solutions, AEOS and Access AtWork, ensuring customers benefit from a complete and integrated security portfolio. Pace empowers security teams to work faster, more accurately and with greater clarity.
Your responsibilities
Your team
You will become part of our Market-Solutions Team within our business unit Security with colleagues operating both from our headquarters and remotely from different parts of Europe. This team includes commercial professionals along the entire customer journey. That is, Marketing, SDR, Sales, Solution Consultants and Customer Success. The Market-Solutions Team is led by our Market-Solutions Director and is responsible for winning new Key Accounts and growing our business with existing Key Accounts.
Within the team, you will be part of the subgroup of Sales Executives that focuses on winning new Key Accounts. You will be coached by our Sales Director, with whom you will have weekly contact about ongoing projects.
Communication with team members can take place both in the office and online. We meet as a team at least several times a year to exchange experiences, celebrate successes and discuss plans and progress.

Required skills
You are a true team player with a strong hunter mentality and get energized by winning new customers. You have excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities. In addition, you possess the perseverance and creativity required to successfully close long and complex sales cycles.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in selling (software) services (subscriptions) and complex solutions;
- Education: Minimum of a completed bachelor’s degree (HBO level);
- Languages: Fluent in German and English; additional languages such as Dutch are a plus;
- Nice to have: Experience with consultative selling.
