

Sales Development Representative (SDR) - DACH region
What are you going to do?
At Nedap Security we work on top notch access management solutions that make organizations worldwide safer and more efficient. To succeed in this mission our commercial team is looking for an energetic and driven Sales Development Representative for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
As SDR your primary focus is on creating high quality customer connections that turn into relevant leads and opportunities. You are working on the frontline with large organizations such as multinationals and public sector, where scale and complexity in the field of physical security come together. You play a crucial role in identifying and contacting stakeholders at key accounts, working closely with sales and marketing to fill the pipeline with high value customer appointments/opportunities. It’s also the perfect jump board to grow into further as commercial professional and learn fast.
Your responsibilities
Your team
You will become part of our Market-Solutions Team within our business unit Security with colleagues operating both from our headquarters (in the Netherlands) and remotely from different parts of Europe. This team includes commercial professionals along the entire customer journey. Think Marketing, SDR, Sales, Implementation Consultants and Customer Success.
Within the team you will be working a lot with SDRs for other regions, as well as other team members (like sales and channel partner managers) within the DACH region.
The Market-Solutions Team is led by our Market-Solutions Director and is responsible for growing our business at Key Accounts (new and existing). You will be coached by our Sales Director, with whom you will have weekly contact about ongoing projects.
Communication with team members can take place both in the office and online. It’s great if you could work a few days per week from our campus in Groenlo (Netherlands), but working from home is an option as well. We meet as Market-Solutions Team at least several times a year to exchange experiences, celebrate successes and discuss plans and progress.

Required skills

You enjoy the challenge of convincing new customers and think creatively about how to open doors. You are resilient, proactive, and motivated by achieving tangible results. You communicate confidently and adapt easily, allowing you to engage effortlessly with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Languages: You are fluent in German and able to communicate effectively in English; Dutch is a plus;
- Education: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a commercial field or have a comparable background;
- Nice to have: Experience with outbound calling – or the motivation to learn and develop yourself in this area;
- Nice to have: You enjoy working with (or are eager to learn) tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Lusha;
- Affinity: An affinity with access control or security technology is a strong plus.
