Supply Chain Planner
What are you going to do?
“It’s always about anticipating: with lead times of 2–3 months, you make decisions today for what will be needed months from now.” – Bart Herstel
As a Supply Chain Planner at Nedap in Retail, you are responsible for the daily operational planning of our international supply chain. You translate sales forecasts, project information, and historical data into a realistic and executable supply plan, ensuring our products are available when and where they are needed. You operate in a dynamic environment where lead times, global suppliers, and changing demand patterns require continuous alignment and decision-making. You actively manage stock levels, monitor supply risks, and take ownership in balancing availability, service levels, and working capital. Your role directly impacts our ability to deliver reliable solutions to customers worldwide. Within Nedap in Retail, where we develop RFID-based solutions for smarter retail operations, supply chain performance plays a crucial role in scaling our impact.
Your stakeholders across all continents include: International sales operations teams, translating commercial forecasts into supply decisions, international suppliers and manufacturing partners, aligning on production and delivery, and purchasing and logistics colleagues, ensuring smooth execution.
Your responsibilities
Your team
You will be part of the Operations team within Nedap in Retail, based in Groenlo. Here, R&D, Sales, Finance, and Operations work closely together to deliver high-quality solutions to customers worldwide. Within Operations, you collaborate with colleagues in planning, purchasing, and logistics. You work closely with international suppliers and internal stakeholders, making you a key link between commercial input, ERP planning, and supply execution.
You will operate in a truly international context: working with manufacturing partners across Europe, coordinating supply flows to global regions such as the US and Asia, and aligning with international sales teams that rely on the same central inventory. This makes your role not only operational, but also global in scope and impact.
