UX Researcher

Groenlo, Netherlands
32 - 38 hrs
€ 4.000 - € 5.100

What are you going to do?

As a UX Researcher within the Integrations Tribe at Nedap in Healthcare, you will not focus on individual integrations, but on the entire ecosystem surrounding the Ons® platform. You explore how users move between applications, roles and devices. What login and navigation patterns feel intuitive? What do users expect when it comes to authorizations and notifications from external applications? How should integrations interact with Ons® Messages, and when does it make sense to show functionality from external tools directly within Ons®?
Your work goes beyond data exchange alone. You investigate how users collaborate with external AI agents, how switching between mobile apps affects navigation and authentication, and how we keep our platform understandable for both customers and new integration partners. With your insights, we move closer to our strategic ambition: building the best ecosystem for healthcare.
In this role, you combine research, service design and design execution. You test, interview and analyze, and help the team translate insights into clear user flows and consistent screens using our design system. In doing so, you make complex integrations understandable and usable.

Your responsibilities

design and run usability tests, interviews and other research methods. You understand when to apply which method and translate insights into concrete recommendations.

look beyond individual screens and think in services. You work with service blueprints and understand how multiple touchpoints together form one cohesive experience, especially within integration scenarios.

turn research insights into clear user flows and elaborate them using our design system, ensuring consistency and high interaction quality.

work closely with developers, product owners and fellow designers. You bring research insights into discussions at the right moment and help ensure decisions are evidence-based.

Your team

As a UX Researcher at Nedap in Healthcare you work both within your own tribe and together in a central UX Design guild. This guild currently consists of more than 25 UX professionals across multiple tribes and teams.
The UX team you will join works across two tribes: Integrations (your primary focus) and the Mobile tribe, which focuses on our mobile applications. You will work closely with two UX designers and a UX Lead. In this role, your focus is on strengthening and expanding the research practice within the team, while also helping set up research activities for the Mobile tribe. Together, you will decide how to divide responsibilities so that everyone’s expertise and UX profiles are used optimally.
Within the Integrations Tribe, we focus on connecting systems, products and partners. Our goal is to ensure smooth data exchange while preventing users from getting lost in technical complexity. Together with product owners, developers and other UX colleagues, you work on integrations that are not only technically robust but also understandable and user-friendly.
