Channel Partner Manager UK & Ireland

London, United Kingdom
32 - 38 hrs
Hybrid

What are you going to do?

Building strong partnerships is about more than managing accounts. It is about understanding what partners and customers need, spotting opportunities, and turning those insights into sustainable growth.

As Channel Partner Manager UK & Ireland at Nedap, you will develop our network of channel partners in the physical security market. You will strengthen existing partnerships, identify and onboard new partners, and work with them to create long-term opportunities for Nedap's access management solutions.

You will be part of an experienced UK team and have the freedom to shape how we grow in the region. That means taking ownership, building relationships at different levels of an organization, and turning ideas into action.

You will be responsible for developing Nedap's channel partner network across the United Kingdom and Ireland. You will work closely with system integrators and other channel partners to build relationships that create value for all parties involved.

Your role goes beyond achieving sales targets. You will understand the ambitions and challenges of our partners and their customers, connect the right people, and identify opportunities where Nedap can make a difference.

Together with the UK team and colleagues across Nedap, you will develop and execute plans for the region. You will monitor market developments and partner performance, share insights with the team, and use what you learn to continuously improve our approach.

Nedap has a strong position in access management. Our portfolio includes solutions such as AEOS, our on-premises access control system, alongside newer solutions that respond to changing customer needs. We combine our experience in physical security with Digital Twin Technology to help organizations manage access to people, buildings, and assets.

Your responsibilities

Build and strengthen long-term relationships with existing channel partners, while identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new partners across the UK and Ireland;

Develop and execute business plans with channel partners, identify commercial opportunities, and support sustainable sales growth;

Build relationships with end users together with channel partners, connecting customers, partners, and the right expertise within Nedap;

Support partners in developing the right solutions and quotations, and help them understand how Nedap’s solutions create value for their customers;

Monitor partner performance and market developments, translate insights into opportunities, and represent Nedap at relevant exhibitions and industry events in the UK and Europe;

Keep opportunities and customer information up to date in the CRM system and actively contribute to UK team and Channel Partner Development Team meetings.

Your team

You will join our UK team, which is commercially responsible for the United Kingdom and Ireland. The team brings together experienced sales professionals and technical specialists, many of whom work primarily from home.

You will work closely with the other channel partner managers, your UK colleagues, our channel partners, end users, and colleagues at Nedap's headquarters in the Netherlands. Although you will have considerable freedom in how you approach your market, you will not be working alone. Sharing knowledge, challenging ideas, and helping each other succeed are important parts of how we work at Nedap.

Our ambition in Security is to continue strengthening our position in access management. The market is evolving as organizations increasingly combine physical and digital security and look for secure, flexible, and convenient ways to manage access. This creates opportunities to build on our established position and develop new customer relationships.

Our offer

What's in it for you?

At Nedap, you get the freedom to make decisions and take ownership of your work. We believe people do their best work when they understand what they are responsible for and have the space to decide how to achieve it.

That freedom comes with responsibility. We expect you to take initiative, be transparent about opportunities and challenges, and actively involve others when their expertise can make the difference.

You will join an international Digital Twin Technology company with a long-term perspective and a clear purpose: Technology for Life. We develop technology by starting with people and the challenges they face. In this role, that means building partnerships that help organizations create secure environments while enabling people to work effectively.

We offer a competitive salary and an environment where there is plenty of room to develop yourself, contribute your ideas, and shape the way we work.

Required skills

You know how to build trust over time and are comfortable developing relationships across different levels of an organization, from engineering specialists to senior decision-makers. You understand that complex B2B sales can take time, and you know how to keep opportunities moving without losing sight of the long-term relationship. A degree in sales, business administration, IT, or a related field is an advantage, relevant experience and what you can contribute to the role are more important.

You also recognize yourself in the following:

  • Experience: At least five years of relevant experience in sales, business development, account management, or a comparable commercial role within the security industry, including experience working with system integrators and enterprise customers;
  • Security expertise: A good understanding of electronic physical security systems and their technical fundamentals, preferably combined with experience in high-security environments;
  • Commercial skills: A proven ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities, build a relevant professional network, and present confidently to stakeholders at different organizational levels;
  • Way of working: A collaborative, proactive, and independent approach. You take ownership, work effectively with international colleagues and partners, and value integrity and transparency in business relationships;
  • Language and travel: Excellent written and spoken English, a full UK driver's license, and willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK and Ireland and occasionally elsewhere in Europe. You are also available to work from the UK office approximately once a month, with additional overnight travel when required;
  • Security clearance: Security Check (SC) clearance or the ability to obtain SC clearance as a minimum requirement.
