Data Engineer
What are you going to do?
As a Data Engineer, you design and build the data flows that make this solution possible. You work across the entire pipeline: from capturing and processing data at the edge to storing and processing it in the cloud and making it available to end users. You build robust real-time and batch pipelines and work closely with ML and computer vision engineers to make data flows efficient, resilient, and traceable. Together with your team, you develop and validate minimum viable products (MVPs) that customers use in practice.

Compensation. Matching your knowledge and experience. The range for this role is € 4000 - € 5500 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours).

Required skills
You look beyond the code: you want to understand the problem you are solving, make thoughtful technical choices, and collaborate with other engineers to improve ideas. You are curious about what technology can make possible, enjoy experimenting, and learn quickly from both successful and unsuccessful approaches.
Must haves:
- Data Engineering: You have experience with or a solid foundation in data engineering and are enthusiastic about everything related to data. You find it interesting to collect, process, and make data available, and you have strong Python skills for building data and ETL pipelines.
- Experience with embedded systems or resource-constrained environments.
- Cloud: You are familiar with cloud services (e.g. Blob Storage, Event Hubs, AKS, ACR).
- Containerization: You have experience with Docker and deploying containerized applications
- Knowledge of video data and processing tools.
- Familiarity with machine learning workflows and/or edge inference.
