Nedap (AMS:NEDAP), the global leader in RFID solutions, is selected by On to deploy the iD Cloud platform in factories, warehouses, distributors and stores worldwide. This way, On can track and trace every single item from source to consumer. This leads to improved operations in warehouses and stores and protects products from being sold in unauthorized markets.

One of the world’s fastest-growing sportswear brands, On, is laying the foundation for optimum fulfillment, which is an important asset to remain the brand of choice for their rapidly expanding community. The innovative Swiss brand has begun implementing iD Cloud in a number of its facilities, including factories, warehouses, distributors, and stores globally.

Utilizing radio waves, RFID technology enables wireless identification and tracking of objects, providing efficient data capture and real-time monitoring, especially beneficial in use cases such as supply chain management. On was already familiar with the technology, and benefits of RFID, and decided to run a pilot program in cooperation with Nedap to test their iD Cloud technology. Utilizing detailed item-level data throughout the process – from manufacturing to sales, swift return processing, and loss prevention – the partnership has shown positive results up to this point.
