HEMA rolls out RFID on a large scale for optimal in-store experience and inventory management
Nedap (AMS:NEDAP), the global leader in RFID solutions, will implement its iD Cloud RFID platform across more than 740 HEMA stores across six countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, and Austria. By becoming even more data-driven, HEMA will further strengthen its inventory management. Customers will be able to see exactly how many of their favorite items are still available in a store via the app or website. Store staff will also be able to track inventory faster and more accurately.
All HEMA stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, and Austria will be live with the RFID solution by mid-2026, making use of Nedap’s expertise in large-scale RFID implementations. This ensures that customers can always count on finding the right products at the right time.
